The stately, Romanesque building, located at 105 Park Avenue in Beaver Dam, was built in 1890 and was the city library until 1985. The museum has three floors of extensive exhibits, including military, early farm life, area industrial development, a complete and authentic one-room school house, a beautifully appointed Victorian sitting room called the "Swan Room" , and information about some of Beaver Dam's "greats" including Fred MacMurray.
