Lights & Sirens (Watertown)

Lights 'N Sirens is the perfect opportunity for children and adults to get up close and personal with local safety professionals.

The event promotes injury prevention through education and provides the community an opportunity to meet with public safety personnel in a relaxed setting.

"People and Paws Search and Rescue" will be new to this years event. The volunteer nonprofit organization is based in Milwaukee and serves the Midwest. The organization uses highly trained staff and dogs to locate missing people in various situations. They will have dogs, equipment and more on display at Lights 'N Sirens.

Various local organizations will be on hand with many safety booths, displays and demonstrations. Many emergency response vehicles will be present that evening. Local police and fire departments will also have various emergency vehicles on display for children to look at, sit in and have their pictures taken.

The event is sponsored by Watertown Area Health Services, Watertown Family Center, Watertown Police Dept. and Watertown Fire Dept.

There is no charge to attend and children and adults are welcome.
