Man sentenced for threatening to decapitate FdL County DA for ISIS

A man claiming to be with the terrorist organization ISIS has been sentenced for threatening Fond du Lac County's District Attorney. James Luke, 29, was ordered to spend two years in state prison for threatening DA Eric Toney.

Dodge County officials think alcohol contributed to crash with serious injuries

According to a news release, shortly after 1:30 a.m. a 26-year-old woman from Muskego was driving a pick-up truck east on CTH S at the intersection with STH 67 didn't stop at the stop sign, crossed into the wrong lanes and crashed off the road into a tree line. The woman was possibly ejected from the car, and the car caught on fire.

Watertown man sentenced 6 years in prison for child sexual assault charges

Stephen Buske, 20, was sentenced in Friday for sexual assault of a child under the age of 16, exposing a child to harmful materials and two counts of possession of child pornography, according to a release from the Dodge County Courthouse. Judge Martin J. De Vries also ordered that he serve an additional six years of supervision and register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.

Wisconsin attorney general open to allowing guns in schools

Wisconsin Republican Attorney General Brad Schimel says he is open to allowing teachers and others to be armed in schools. Schimel talked about the issue on WTMJ-Radio on Tuesday, less than a week after a Florida high school shooting left 17 dead.

Wisconsin tweaks dairy insurance program

The La Crosse Tribune reports that the Margin Protection Program for Dairy allows farmers to buy insurance that pays out when the cost to produce milk becomes too close to milk's selling price. More than 6,500 dairy farmers signed up for the program in its first year, but participation fell to less than 5,300 last year, with most farmers buying coverage for when margins fell below $4.

There is a Winter Weather Advisory for icing through Tuesday afternoon for: Crawford, Richland, Sauk, Columbia, Dodge, Juneau, Adams, Marquette, Green Lake. There is a Flood Warning for southwestern Grant until 1:15 p.m. A Flood Warning is also in effect for southeastern Dane, Green, Lafayette, Rock, and northern Walworth Counties until 9:45 a.m. Additionally, a Flood Watch remains in effect through Tuesday afternoon for Green, Rock, Jefferson and Walworth Counties.
